As Hurricane Sandy looms near the coast of Florida today, we wonder if this will be the final threat for the 2012 hurricane season.  We are expecting plenty of rain, yet nothing like the downpour that brought flooding to record levels more than a month ago.  This storm has the potential to pack quite a punch for Florida, but will likely not affect any US landmass.  There is a chance that it could hit further north on the East Coast, but no threats just yet.  As this rather calm Hurricane Season passes by, let us vow to be more prepared by next July.
