Judge reprimands Goodman Attorney Roy Black
Roy Black has apparently attempted to blind side the judge in the John Goodman Trial this morning. Jurors and witnesses were asked to be removed from court as Judge Colbath reprimanded Mr. Black for blind siding the courts with a discussion of a witness that was unexpected to appear.. It appears that the judge allowed Mr. Black to explain his purpose in bringing this witness up, and eventually to the stand…
The trial began yesterday with a number of witnesses laying out the events of that fateful evening, which included whether or not Mr. Goodman had 3.5 ounces of liquor or more, as well as his “typical” demeanor when he was drinking at The Players Club and how it compared to his demeanor that evening. The opening statements promised to bring experts from both sides to make statements to the defense’s suggestion that the vehicle malfunctioned. The young lady that first spoke with Mr. Goodman that evening overheard him tell the 911 operator that he stopped at a stop sign and after ward moving through the intersection. He also never indicated a malfunction that evening.
